Happiness

Happiness is something that has to come from within,

If you keep looking around for it, you will be disappointed with the way that it could have been.

It can be hard to be genuinely happy in a world that is so uncertain,

And if you try to discuss your problems, it can make you feel like a burden.

The only way that anything in your life is going to get better is if you try to talk about it,

And remind yourself that you have come a long way anytime you feel as if you want to quit.

Everyone has a purpose, and we are all here because of something or someone,

And there is always more that can happen, even if you think that you are done.

It took me a long time to realize that anyone can be happy and filled with joy,

Regardless of whether you are black or white, gay or straight, girl or boy.

We all are capable of changing our lives in order to make them improve,

But it is all up to you and how much you are willing to get up and move.

Anything can happen, no matter what your circumstances,

All you have to do is not be afraid to put yourself out there and take some chances.
