Happiness Ahead

Painful memories my heart stores
Looking for a way through these doors
Finding my way back into the light
Using up all of my might
But when the darkness is back
All I see is black
No where to hide but where I stand
You offer a helping hand
Pulled me from the abyss of my despair
All I needed was one person to care
The pain and misery is beneath me
Happiness ahead I see
