Happiness from within

I don’t need your flowers or jewelry, You never offered it anyway. I offered you hugs and kisses, You rejected them all with a shrug. I wanted to be happy, therefore I wanted your love. I can finally see. I am happy because I am happy and that is all I need to know. I don’t need your approval, I only need my own.
