Happy

Happy

Wanting to convey that taste of childhood...bliss,

Before it slips

Through

My hands gripping the bars-

Underneath a world of Chinese Maple stars

Broken sidewalk, dapplerays

Balloon lungs inflate

Maybe

today will last forever

In my heart & on the page…
