Happy Daddy's Day

Some say it's a special day

but its only once a year

some stay home with family

others go out and have a beer

this day has always been hard for me

but now I know that you're there

I know that you'll always be

but this day, this particular day

I have had tears after tears 

wondering when the day would come

to meet you and my worries and fears

would be gone

not knowing where you were

had my head in a daze

but I know that you would be there

just waiting patiently for those days!!!!

now that day has come and gone

we have to work with it
