Happy day

             Happy day

I am walking in shadow searching for light
Hoping that my dim will someday turn bright
Thinking if this ache in my heart will go at some point
For many things I wished for, many of lot I want
"If only wishes were horses, beggars would ride"
As I struggle to overcome my life tide
I know not happiness anymore
As everything sweet has gone sore
Yet still,
I keep thinking, if there are shadows,
Then surely, light exists nearby
Which in a day I shall come by
I've just got to keep looking,
But it hard,
Especially when I try to remember or visualize,
A true happy day
