Happy Fathers Day to Me

My daddy used to love me My daddy used to care Sometimes he'd hug me real tight Just so I knew he'd always be there He used to scare the monsters from underneath the sheets Tuck me in say goodnight, and i love you he'd repeat Seeing other kids happy with their dad's makes me grateful for my mom And miss the daddy I used to have I cry alot of nights to deal with the pain But he will never hear me Although my tears tell a story thats always the same Happy Fathers Day to me Celebrating dad's with no daddy No cards No gifts No phone call I hope he gets all that from that damn alcohol I know he'll never hear me but.. Happy Fathers Day... I love you Daddy.
