Happy Independence Day
Happy Independence Day
Jubilations! congratulations!!
We are seven after fifty.
We are a growing nation.
Any reason to be happy?
Yes, let's listen to the ancestry,
And their steps by the posterity.
Are we moving a fast pace?
Are we crawling snail?
The time will surely tell,
As we travel in it's train:
When we ponder our stations,
Where we are of other nations.
Our drivers must be fast
Yes, sincere and alert.
Not so narrow-minded
Not -ismic, not prided.
So that at our destination
We arrive with Jubilation.
Happy Independence Day.
May we witness many such days.
A . I . Muye.
