A Happy Love
Life needs love,
but
lying is not love,
lust is not love,
leaving is not love.
Society has reconstructed “love”,
making us construct barriers
to protect our hearts from the expected:
pain.
We need better.
We deserve better.
We hope for better.
Pain is not love.
Love is
Lasting,
Original,
Venturesome,
Ebullient.
Whether it be someone to kiss
or just someone to miss,
comfort, honesty, and security
create a love that makes me happy.
