Happy: From Me, To You

There is a girl who is scared
One who didn't experience much freedom
Her face said she's happy, that she's okay
But her eyes screamed out in sadness and fear

Day after day her face had lied
But her eyes were honest
She thought she had no one to turn to
Cause she was changing

She felt like she was different
Like she didn't belong
But it pulled her in
And she began to smile

Tears stopped falling
And her eyes were now bright
She felt happy
And so did we
Time passes on
Pain fades away
And you'll feel much better
Just like us over here
