Happy Mother's Day

Sometimes we disagree,

But that’s okay.

To be perfectly honest,

I wouldn’t have it any other way.

You’re always there,

You’ve helped me grow,

And you always know what to say,

Even when I don’t know.

You’re more than amazing,

My gratitude knows no end.

You’re not only my mom,

You’re the very best of a friend.

You’re the only Mom I’ve got,

And I wouldn’t trade you for the world,

So Happy Mother’s Day to you,

Love your baby girl.

I'm a sophomore in this little town in Georgia that most of you probably haven't even heard of. Reading and writing has always been my life, but it's only been in the past few years that I've honed in on poetry. Now, I vent through it! I also have a passion for photography and community service. I would like to teach when I get out into the real world.
