A Happy Place.

when the sun begins to rise,

I roll over to the side where you lay.

You yawn, stretch, and groan,

but it's the cutest little yawn..

the one that sounds like a moan.

You open your brown eyes and then flash a smile.

You know, the one that makes me blush every once in awhile.

Oh gosh, that dimple!

Yes, that dent in your cheek.

That dimple tells me that you’re happy and we kiss.

Thank goodness we’re not standing because my knees would grow weak.

I tremble as your finger tips touch my skin,

Not tremble because I’m afraid but from excitement because I let you in.

This is a feeling i’ve never felt before.

This feeling is totally new.

A feeling that I can’t ignore,

a feeling caused by you and only you.

You’re so warm, and you smell so sweet.

This is what they must call love.

My mountain of happiness and you are at the peak!

I put no other above

YOU..

are my comfort zone,

my happy zone.

You are my stress relief.

All along I should have known that you were made for me.

Holding my hand you drop to one knee.

Confessing your love and saying that this is where you want to be.

For the rest of our lives, we’ll be together.

I’ll always be in your heart and you’ll always be in mine.

No matter how weak, how far, or how old we are.

We’ll never be apart because we’ll always have time.
