Happy Thoughts
The thought of you makes me smile,
Listening to a song or seeing a couple holding hands and wondering why you can’t be with me.
I want your touch in the most innocent way;
I want you to caress my cheek and look deep into my eyes before you kiss me,
I want the cliche love story,
And I want to be your friend.
I want this to last; I don’t want a fling,
I don’t want an off and on relationship,
I want to know someone cares about me in a way no one else does.
If this isn’t unique I don’t want it;
I don’t want a carbon copy,
Pave your own roads to my heart.
Show me that you think of this more than I do;
Show me that I’m all you want.
