Happy Timing

We were just kids

We didn’t know what were were doing

Just following blindly

It was nothing at first

And then something became everything

Time showed us how to love

But how can I explain

Four years and you know someone

He gave me a promise ring

How can you love me

You are worth so much more than

He says that is never true

He explains simply

I am my best with you

My Kindest My Happiest

My Smartest My Strongest

He says Time told him I was the one

And to make a promise

He promised God

He would never hurt me never change me

And to get Dad’s permission

He dreams that someday

We will pick out cake we won’t have time to eat

On our wedding day

He dreams that someday

We will bring home a baby girl

Beautiful just like me

Time says we are so alike

God made his Soul to match mine

I feel so lucky

He makes me want to be my best

I believe in him

That we will know each other forever

We are still just kids

But I Dream of a happy ending
