Hard for me
"You make this more difficult than it has to be."
You said as I slid from the wall to the floor,
I begged you to stay in silence when you walked out the door,
I never understood as to why you made love so hard for me.
You acted like it was no big deal,
To betray my love and trust,
Like it was some fucking deal you made that was not meant to last.
Because I promise you I thought it was going to.
I thought I could make you love me,
But really that wasn't the case at all,
You made me love you.
As I watched the rain fall down I took a breath and cut the sky up into pieces for showing my pain in its nature.
