Hard Knock Life

It's a hard knock life

All anyone gets is Strife

Bills screaming to be due

They say be yourself then they judge you

Movies always have a happy ending

But it's hard to keep pretending

Can we ever change our stars

Or stay forever trapped behind self made bars

It's a hard knock life

The world attacks us with a sharp knife

However hard it seems we have a choice

We can fight back with our voice

We can stand up and stop the abuse

So we can finally be of use

Life can get better

I write it so in this letter
