Hard to let go

Hard to let go of a love that sets your soul free…consumes you and makes you feel alive again. A love that when it’s gone, takes you through the darkest of nights. Through a tunnel of comprise and despair. Where the closest thing to company is doubt and regret. Maybe the best thing is to let go. Because a love that great is not meant to last. Perhaps its presence was not meant to remain. Perhaps it’s a fire meant to ignite change. A change that without ignition would be delayed. Change. Change your outlook. And leave. Move on.
