Hard to swallow

I go about my day happy as can be

when I begin to notice that people are staring at me

I get real shy and try to avoid them

until rumors begin to spread and i get torn like the hem on a shirt

i try everything i can to say its not true

but nothing that i said would ever seem to work

I relaize that they might be right

and i forgot about the beauty I had inside

I starve myself and try not to eat

hoping to be the best shape I can be

and now I have a bad habit

and get anxious like a scared rabit

but that perfect figure

I just had to have it

now the foods that i use to enjoy

are so hard to swallow like whole food for babies

and as I look at the super models that drive a nice mercedes

I forget about the real beauty that is hidden within all of us ladies

if only people wouldnt have been so mean

then maybe I could finally just be me

and enjoy my favorite treat without struglling to swallow
