Hard Times

You never really know where life will take you,

life may take you through green pastures or hard times,

life can break you.

People always try to help but they can never unravel the twists and turns,

Like a pair of apple headphones you’re, somehow, always tangled,

always being poisoned or receiving burns.

It’s tough trying to battle these struggles without a father,

because you’ll never know what’s the next chapter in the book of Hard Times,

that’s cause life’s the author.
