Hardwork

Hard work can allow someone to accomplish their dreams; this is how I live my life and is the best advice I have been given.  Baseball and Football have been a big part of my life.  They have shown me who I am and made me the person I am today.  First, they showed me that hard work and dedication can allow someone to accomplish anything.  Nothing has come to easy to me in my life, I have had to work, keep striving to be successful on and off the field.  People sometimes call me a perfectionist but I tell them the little things matter and not to cheat yourself out of something.  Also, sports have taught me how to be a leader.  A leader is someone who has the ability to guide people to a common goal.  Sports have taught me how to be a leader and how leaders show humility and respect.  I have played sports my whole life and I was always taught to stay humble.  No matter if I would hit a walk off home run to win a game or make a game changing play on the football field I have always stayed humble.  Showing humility on the field is powerful than taunting or being a show boat. By being humble on the field it has influenced me outside of the field.  Humility is a great attribute to have as a part of your character.  Along with humility you should give respect. Personally respect is very big for me.  I learned respect from a very young age from my mother.  As a child I was taught to respect your elders, teachers, and your parents. I give everyone respect no matter who you may be or what you have done in the past.  All of these attributes are the skills you need to be a hard worker and you need to demonstrate these skills to be a hard worker.
