Harm
*Trigger Warning*
Breathe in,
breathe out,
they all say.
They don't tell you the good,
the better life,
but they tell you the opposite.
Grabbing the knife that’s been kept under my bed,
brings back the lack of joy there was in me.
Not cutting was the source to the depression,
I missed it so dearly.
Nobody would know if I did it,
nobody would care if I did it,
nobody would say anything.
So I do the one thing that I love in this shitty world,
cut,
cut away the pain.
Blood dripping down my arm and onto the bed,
with all the anxiety flushing out of me.
A grin quickly arises on my face,
the depression turned to pure happiness.
I wish this could go on forever,
I would be so much happier,
oh the joy it would bring.
