HARMATTAN
HARMATTAN (by Irusota)
harmattan oh harmattan!
why did you wake me up from sleep
this morning, with so much gaze?
stretching your hands towards
me as if to bless my cozy face
harmattan oh harmattan!
So dry and rusty
your breeze makes my skin
I'm left with nothing
than to rub cream on my chin
harmattan oh harmattan!
You woke me from bed
With fog and cold
the sound of your gossiping wind
Slaps dryness in my head
harmattan oh harmattan!
You came with chilling mornings
And left with chilling nights
The long rainy reason has ended
So your season just started
harmattan oh harmattan!
You came with so much chilliness
embracing our skin with dryness
And you stole our warmness
harmattan oh harmattan!
Your prevailing dusty haze
has slapped us
with so much gaze
harmattan oh harmattan!
What should i offer you?
My cream or my skin
For you to hold your chill
