Harmony

Harmony Life's harmony, its ups, its downs, its twists and turns, where does it all lead you? Here I am, at a crossroads, faced with not knowing which way to go. I wanted this, to be 18, to graduate, but wait, what now, what's ahead? Success or more stress? Is everything going to change? Have I done enough? Have I done too little? Have I made too many mistakes? But then again, mistakes are memories made. Do I deserve the best or less? I mean I know I can be selfish and impatient. I make mistakes and at times I'm hard to handle, but just because I have moments where I'm at my worst doesn't mean I don't deserve the best right? But this thing, called life, it's supposed to guide you, give you light, but sometimes I feel like it leaves me blind. Although if things never went wrong, would you know to appreciate things when they go right? I look to my left, I look to my right. Which path do I choose? Which one is right for me? I want to be something, to do great things but what is my purpose? Am I destined for greatness, to be a shining example? Or am I destined for failure, to provide an example of who not to be and what not to do? i want to leave my footprints on the sands of time. I want someone to say that I left my mark on the world. I want to know that the world is a little better simply because I was here. I'll admit it, I'm scared. Of what I could be, of what I will be. But at the same time, I'm ready. I will be brave, and I'll be standing on my own two feet.
