harmony

(I remember a time when life finally made sense. The Sun laid hidden in scattered clouds across the evening sky. Scattered grey and white clouds loomed over the sky. The Sun would peak and its radiant beams brought heat and warmth on that rainy day. The rain shot and darted like millions of tiny bullets leaving a fiery inferno on that sunny day. The atmosphere was perfumed with scents of the rain, the wet grass, the trees. As I walked on the road the tiny drops formed into one huge sheet of water. The cold water rose up to my ankles covering my tiny naked feet. Splish! Splash! As I took another step. Beads of water continued to fall as I began to notice the humidity in the air. The warm air heated my body protecting me from the cold rain drops. It was just another school afternoon, but this time the world around me displayed polar differences that linked in harmony. This type of day is called a Sun Shower. It occurs when it rains when the sun is out. How can two polar entities coexist in harmony? I wondered and pondered this as I finally reached home. I watched the Sun Shower for hours. Captivated by its beauty I wondered what it meant to me. As the Sun rays reached and touched the concrete ground it merged with the millions of shooting beads of water. Harmonious they were together. Then I realized what nature was showing me. That the differences in our lives wether bad or good in the end on our last day we all should reflect and say I lived it to perfection. There was no other way to live my life than the way i did. Also that right now we should enjoy the good times and revel through the bad times. As the Sun Shower passed across my neighborhood I felt pure happiness and peace. I hope that someone else who sees the Sun Shower will see what I have seen. poems go here)
