Harshest Winter


Treading carefully so as not to slip The ground - frozen water the ice cold air like sharp teeth biting into frosty skin a cloud of mist Icicles hanging off hands The dark white snow, black ice a death trap Sharp silk petals straining for light as they die one by one falling under the frost the fog The cover of snow suffocating everything underneath
