Has Anyone Seen My Inspiration?

A clean, white canvas.

A lack of ingenuity causing panic.

My eyes dart around the room for a muse, an idea, INSPIRATION!

In my tiresome quest, I discover nothing sans desperation.

Nothing quite strikes a chord.

I hunt, I search, but only find the drawing board.

And then at once! All of a sudden!

I realize my brain is finally flooded.

My hands get moving,

My blank slate is improving.

Now, my paintbrush stained, my masterpiece complete,

I realize my inspiration was hidden within me.
