Has my history gotten lighter

Has history gotten lighter?

Is that the sun shining brighter

Turning dark pigment into white washed figment

Has history gotten lighter?

Is the weight of their chains

Being braced with their freedom?

Has history gotten lighter?

Why has fighter been exchanged for

Ghost writer

Has history gotten lighter?

Being diminished

Never finished

Has MY history gotten lighter

Has the weight been removed

Is my color no longer a tool

Is freedom given not bought

Has my history gotten lighter?
