HASHTAG NOFILTER

Hashtag no filter,
I need make up--
I’m a mother and I’m busy,
I run around in circles getting dizzy,
I ne’er once complain
about the fact that I’m in pain.

The pain of being in plain sight,
looking horrendous, I am NO dynamite...
But my daughters see the real me,
as a beauty, the QUEEN BEE.
To them I am beautiful,
wonderful, my looks excusable.

I don’t need a filter,
so why am I so bitter?
