Hashtag NoFilter

Life was much simpler without cell phones and computers

Now, everywhere I turn, everyone has their noses in their "lifeline"

I now not only have to worry about the traffic on the road but also the traffic on the sidewalks

Who knows if someone will walk into me?

What would I look like without the sepia filter or a hashtag next to my picture?

Beautiful, candid, and full of pure hapiness

They say that a picture is worth 1,000 words

Filters are supposed to "enhance" one's looks, however

One is born with such natural beauty that any other enhancements are entirely unnecessary

One's body is a canvas full of potential and natural, glistening beauty

Filters and hashtags may seem the way to go as it is what EVERYONE ELSE is doing nowadays

Who says you have to do what EVERYONE ELSE is doing

Bandwagoning is not fun, even though somedays we humans are masters at it

Individuals are meant to make a mark for the self, not for the selves

So what would the world look like without so many filters and enhancement tools?

A beautiful, miraculous place that we as humans have been longing to re-visit for a long while
