HASTEN WITHOUT DELAY

My frontal cortex pounds away Like a greyhound, it races stray As it expounds around its own ricochet And surrounds me with an overlay Of letdowns from yesterday -- Those frowns when I am in disarray Sometimes, it drowns out things that come-what-may Now I hear the hounds of my own Doomsday Flee from this sound -- hasten forth! No delay.
