Hate in
-Hate in-
12-8-21
by Jacob Flippen
When I'm down on my knees I'm praying for the next day.
When I'm hopless I feel my anxiety come over me.
When I see the clouds come my way, I just want to see you stay.
Love is a game that I take my bets to.
I don't want to lose you.
Love in but I have the hate in.
Hate in.
Don't let the hate in.
Hate is a strong word.
I know I should care but I don't where.
All I do is stare.
Play me like a drum and you hear the snare.
Stop and stare.
Hate in.
So when I'm taking it all in I hope you don't the hate in.
I'm may never be the one but I may be anyone.
Leave me be to sit in my shame.
I hate what I can't tame.
Out or in?
This is my hate in.
