Hate

Maybe she’s a woman

Maybe she could be real

The sun will keep on moving

And the moon will lift the veil

Her mind is fast and leafing

The force of the assail

She’s lost in the snow

She’s got the strength to move on

She’s tied up in my black box now

She’s the velvet rope around my throat

You know I’m on my way now

To love the red light on my face

Or what can you tell me to hate?

What can you tell me to hate?

The raindrops burning on the dead rock- scape

So can you tell me what to hate?

The essence of mythological rape

And they’re calling out what they hate

Forcing through the golden gates

What is everything that you hate?

Tell me everything that you hate

Is this all that you thought you would hate?

Or do the bodies just remunerate? The bloody bells have awoken

The jack remains unspoken

God’s grip on your lying tongue

Satan saves you from what God’s done

Eternal sleep in my box

You can’t stay steady on the course

Leaning empty in my vault

I’m going to feed your heart to the lost

All the dead things beneath the moss

The bodies underneath, so soft

You’ve taken me, now you’ve lost

She’s lost in the snow

She’s got the strength to move on

She’s tied up in my black box now

She’s the velvet rope around my throat

You know I’m on my way now

To love the red light on my face

Or what can you tell me to hate?

What can you tell me to hate?

The raindrops burning on the dead rock- scape

So can you tell me what to hate?

The essence of mythological rape

And they’re calling out what they hate

Forcing through the golden gates

What is everything that you hate?

Tell me everything that you hate?

Is this all that you wanted?

Or do the bodies just remunerate?
