Hate Myself

Day to day I go by

Hating myself

Hating like I ever so hate our sick demented world

But lately...

I've met someone

Someone who cares

Cares with nothing required in return

She tells me I am worth something

Which I never myself believed

I hate myself

But I can't help but see a little light in my dark soul

Light in which could change

Change the way I see myself

If only I had something to guide me

Something like a navigator to loving myself

My dark and ever so twisted self
