Hate is a Strong Word
The word hate is strong but true
In some people's cases
People judged on inheritance
It was all about the races
So closed minded
Didn't want to see it
They weren't equal
No white man believed it
Lives were lost and battles fought
The war was won and lessons taught
People are people no matter the color
Embrace them all
They are your brothers
Hate may be a strong word indeed
But heroes arise when there is a need
We have all of those folks to thank
For equality
And mostly a reduction of hate
