The Hate You Give

The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas serves a purpose through the pain

The pain you feel when the clouds of social injustices rain

Police brutality, no justice, this is really getting insane

But it's okay we'll keep our heads up we're going to see a brighter day

Not just keeping our heads up but we're gonna continue to fight

End the systematic racism, let America know what's right

In the days we're living in we see the rising and the falls

Major issues in our community, it's sad to say we've seen em all

We see the police and the people and by people I mean black

Everyone around the world experiences their issues with that.

The whole chaos with the police, it's really crazy and that's a fact.

I feel bad for my younger youth, what kind of example is that.
