the hate you give limits my voice

You give hate I’m tryna spread peace by giving a piece of myself to love and life I’m a black man in America just tryna live but it seems like every time I seem to make progress the system turns around and wants to stop me and put fear and shock into me I can’t breathe I’m suffocating better yet I can’t be who I want to be or do what I  want to do in the moment of now and next for the future I wish I had an answer because it seems like I might only lose with the time I have left so I want to speak up and speak out and make a change for my future and the generations to come so let me speak with my words and give peace without violence or hate.
