Hating the Past Me

I knew that you were leaving but I never believed it

I knew how I felt about you but I never said it

Now that you're gone I am here alone.

While I am sitting here crying

I look at pictures of you smiling

It makes me hate the person who never let you know.

You been gone a while

But when you left you took my smile

It all because of the past me.

All the time I had with you

I always wish that you knew

But the persone that I used to be

Made me miss out on a chance with you.

You sit their happy

And I am glad for you

But I sit here hating the girl that I once was.
