Hatred

There was a boy,

Only about 9 years old,

Taken from his mother,

Workin' in blistering cold.

He didn't know hate yet,

But he was getting close,

He went through their motions,

Like living in comatose.

He lost so many friends,

Why were they abused?

Maybe it was that Hitler,

He hated the Jews.

So now, the boy loses innocence,

He gains nothing but hatred,

And he wished one thing,

That a quick death is what he awaited.

The boy had no place to hide,

At 9 he was put to work,

He was so angry,

He wanted to go berserk.

And then he was struck by an idea,

Maybe it there was a way to escape,

A way to leave this cruel world,

He had to find a better place.
