Every situation is set up like a test And a mother does what she thinks is best. To protect Rapunzel, she locked her in a tower But the author made her seem so sour. Being young made Rapunzel only see All of the mystery she was missing daily. Every maternal instinct has a good intention But that's something the author forgets to mention. Even though some would say That she went about it in an entirely wrong way, Listen to her side and maybe you'll realize That it is important to see through all eyes. Next time you are rejected For having your own perspective, Try to remember Rapunzel's mother And how you believed one story, without the other. Now you feel what Rapunzel's mother felt When in reality, she was just trying to help. Yes, understand what Rapunzel sees But learning every story is a major key. Sometimes we only see what we want And we tend shut out what we should not. Make sure you remain with an open mind Because it's important in fairytales, but also for mankind.
