HAVE WANTED TO BE

HAVE WANTED TO BE

have wanted to be

for some time now,

to explain figuratively,

what this Prince of Darkness does,

when he influences my personality,

and through the periods of sadness,

and flatness of the soul,

in the awakening moments of my day,

for he has control of within,

and oh!

how I have to wrestle;

to overcome

this daily occurrence and battle;

and my medication,

and counselling sessions,

is my redeemer being

in order to keep me,

on an even keel

in my daily wrestling match,

with hopelessness and depression.
