Have You Been Told?

To be stuffed is better than to be starving, isn’t it?

I fear for you. When I think of you I don’t think

I love you, I love you, I love you.

Well, I do, but when I think of you I think of

How are you? Have you slept? Have you ate?

Have you been told of your beauty lately because

I know how no one likes to have a second thought.

You are my second thought,

And my first and my last.

I hope you’re well and you’re slept and you’re full and you

Are known everyday of how gut achingly beautiful you are.

I hope you know it so much you get sick of it.

To be loved unbearingly is better than to be starved, isn’t it?
