Have You Ever?

Have you ever had a feeling,

Of something you just can't shake?

You try and try and try,

But it just won't shake.

Have you ever had a feeling,

You found the thing you love?

You feel so confident and so bold,

It just won't shake.

When I was little,

"Daddy I want to be a doctor."

To this day,

"Daddy, I want to help people."

Seeing an accident on the 23rd of June,

Lights blaring and people screaming  

A mother lost her son,

"Daddy, I want to help people."

Have you ever had a feeling,

You see something and you just want to jump in?

You try to shake the feeling,

But it just won't shake.

This year I found my purpose,

On the 23rd of June.

I saw someone in need,

"Daddy, I want to help people."
