Have You Ever Noticed?

Have you ever noticed how when the sun creeps up the sky

The trees look as though they have been dipped in gold?

…how on a cloudy and sunny day

The clouds look like the perfect flavor of cotton candy?

…how in the first few hours of morning

The dew looks like diamonds resting on a blade of grass?

…or how on a summer day

Just before it gets blistering hot

The cool of the early morning is the perfect temperature?

Have you noticed how God takes his time

To paint the sky with the right combination of colors

To make your heart glow with peace and happiness?

Have you ever noticed? No?

Then take the time to notice

The sun, the clouds, the dew, the sunrise.

Make sure that you are never too busy to enjoy

The cool of a summer morning or the sweet call of a bird

Make sure that you have noticed the un-noticed.
