Haven

Because I love you,

walk home with me.

I can take you away,

where you can be young again, and free.

Because I love you,

you don't have to worry,

about your problems at home or in life.

I'll be your safe haven.

Be yourself with me.

We can laugh and smile.

Watching down on our burdens from blissful heaven.

It's the way we were meant to be.

I know you're pressured,

I know you're stressed,

And I know your trust is hard-fought,

even now.

But, let me be your one-in-a-million,

filled with joy and rare kindness.

Willing to listen to your sweet voice with open ears.

Just because I love you.
