HAVEN'T MISSED A THING

I have never seen the sunset
I have never seen the snow
I have never worn fancy clothing
Or impressed anyone with my flow

But
I have walked along the sidewalk
And I've stopped to see the birds

Wind blowing on my hair
And still making my way down the curves

I've been stung by a bee
And fallen as I run
Scraped a knee and slept under the stars

All simple things as you can see
But why do they make me feel so happy?

Is not the quality that makes something awesome
Is the experience that it brings

So don't get caught up in material things
Cus as you can see
I haven't missed a thing
