Haven’t you ever wondered
what makes another shiver?
The chills that go up and down their spine
They hold themselves together in a lonely embrace
Haven’t you ever wondered,
What makes another blush?
When nothing would have caused it
Wouldn’t you like to ask their thoughts?
Haven’t you ever wondered
What makes another glance away?
But still you lock your gaze on theirs, hopeful
Because maybe they’ll meet your eyes and just know
Haven’t you ever wondered
What takes away your courage
When they softly make their way into a room?
So that even you, a confident person, find a loss for words.
Haven’t you ever wondered?
What if they could be the one?
But of course you have, because if not
You would have taken a chance before you fell for them.
