Having a voice

As women we are judged

Some of us are nudged

Hard to express how we feel

Most men think it is not real

No one understands us

Men just want to fuse

Locked in a room and chained

                                                     Makes the body become drained

                                                              No energy to fight

                                                            Staying silent in fright

As women we are strong

We can forgive and move on

Times goes and we evolve

Able to speak for a cause

We are able to be independent

Although some men can not stand it

We have finally gained a voice

Most of us had to make it a choice

Thinking of right and wrong

Some have made it into a song

From the past to the present

So nobody will ever forget it
