Hawk's Eye
My wings spreading out
The wind breaking my fall
Gliding throughout the sky and the clouds
As if there isn't a forced pushing me down
My eyes see farther than the others
Giving me a perspective on things foreign to my brothers
Or those I'd like to call my brothers
Because sadly I'm alone
Beating my wings against the sky
Wandering if today's the day, I'll die
But alas I'm not scared of death, but of life
Scared of living this life in solitude
Knowing that no one will remember me
That is the cost of being strong
Or so I've been told
I'm respected, I'm feared, but I'm oh so alone
My wings spreading out across the orange sky
Praying for the day the sky will fall
Dragging down with it this life, this Lie that I call,
Me
