"He Is"
“He Is”
He’s my strength in times of weakness,
My Joy in times of sorrow,
He’s my yesterday, today, and
I Know He holds tomorrow.
He’s the keeper of the stars,
The brilliance behind the sun,
He paints the flowers with His fingertips
He is the Holy One.
He sticks closer than brother,
He’s my dearest friend,
He promises to go with me always,
Even to the End.
He’s the Alpha and Omega,
The First and Last,
He guides me through the future,
He erases the mistakes of the past.
He comforts the sick and painfilled heart,
Wounded by the world,
He can take the roughest stone,
And make a shinning pearl.
He’ll pick you up after you fall,
Time and time again,
He’s the strongest tower,
And the greatest of all men.
He made the world in all its beauty,
And such tender love He has shown.
This man, His name is Jesus,
And my heart doth love Him so.
Your History doesn’t matter,
For he can make all things new,
Come unto Him, He’ll forgive your sin,
And wash you whiter than snow.
