'He'

The strong black man is he
Abused mentally, emotionally, and spiritually
Carrying the effects of slavery
The black woman became another of his own worst enemies
Not all, however most just want to brawl and call
Call him out his name and degrade
Worrying about his wealth than him being self made
Yes, the Creater from above made him in His image
However here on this earth trials and tribulations shaped him into a perceived menace
A menace to society he is labeled
Incarceration or death is waiting at the table
Cant leave kids out of the equation
Alot of women seduce & trap

Using her kitty as a weapon in his lap
Persuading him to stay & be a father
When he really doesnt want to bother
Her body became a form of mass destruction
Her words used as a deadly weapon
He...as strong as can be
Forever kept that slave mentality
The Invisible mommy & daddy juggles werent filled inside
He became so full of pride
Sexual pleasures with many women, greed for money ,& drug dealing was the finer things to him
He failed to realize he was slowly but surely killing the man within

Who is he?
If I can sum it up all in one....
A person broken mentally, emotionally, and spiritually from the effects of slavery.. Perceived as a menace to society..
Worshipping sex ,drugs, & money as his own form of deity In a world full of abomination
Falling into Satan's temptation

Satan, a lion prying
Who main goal is to see this man dying
No hesitation or justification
Just satisfication & relaxation
Stratification to become a minion ..
A minion under his dominion
Dead to self & his soul waiting to be compelled out
Now he's led to the door mat that spells ...**WELCOME TO Hell, Got Ya Now**

I am 20 years old, a single mother, and an undergraduate at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, aiming for my bachelor of science in criminal justice. I want the best for my daughter, my mother, and myself, as well as others. All I can do is have faith and always put God first. Life is too short, so it's time to enjoy every day, week, month, and years of it.

My favorite part of this poem is stating overall what the black man goes through.
